So when Europe starts their world tour...who will be the opening acts?
I think Winger would be perfect for the job! [SM=x237809]

i definitly think that any support bands that open for europe should be the likes of winger, or some band from the 80's

such as; ratt, white lion, def leppard, cinderella etc...

lets hope so

Start the new year and new tour right...
Plain and simple...Europe needs to pull out some of the old skeletons from the closet and hook up with some great metal acts such as UFO and Rainbow for the tour.

She spent one evening alone she's on fire
Thinking of you in a dream
You come home and she says you're a liar
Asking "Where have you been"

But she's the angel of your heart
There is not a thing that could set you apart
If nothing comes back 'till the end
If nothing goes wrong
She will always be your friend

You're a fool when you think she's someone
Who'll believe in a lie
You're a fool when you don't think she's someone
Whom you can't make cry

Cause you're the hero of her heart
There's not a thing that could set you apart
If nothing comes back 'till the end
If nothing goes wrong
You will always be her friend

You are the children of this time
You are the bread and the wine
You are companions 'till the end
You've got yourselves to defend

Give her more so much more and you'll find out
That it will come in return
Tell her more so much more about your feelings
And she will make them burn

Cause you're the children of today
There's not a thing that could stand in your way
If nothing comes back 'till the end
If nothing goes wrong
You will always be friends

I hope Def Leppard
My 2nd favourite band (of course far behind Europe)is Def Leppard. I have never had the opportunity in the past to see them live. So I pray that I will be able to visit an open air festival with Europe and Def Leppard performing on the same day. ..... But if it's Europe alone without Def Leppard I am already satisfied. Re: I hope Def Leppard
I think that EUROPE are good friends with DEF LEPPARD. I have read to the past that JOE ELLIOT say that EUROPE was the best and wildest band who he has play with them

How about Crystal Blue, also from Sweden. They are a very talented bend and released the best record (detour) in 2003!!! They deserve to go on the road with a big band defenitely!!! If you don't know them: they're like Europe at the time of Out Of This World but with a far better productions and also have the writing skills of a good melodic rock band. Check them out, you'll love 'em!!!

Support
I'd like to see a Scandinavian support crew...

"Hellacopters" from Sweden - a great sounding new rock band that are huge in SE and just toured Australia.
(Check out "By the Grace of God" on the net)

and

"D*A*D (or 'Disneyland After Dark') - awesome Danish cowshed punk rockers - (does anyone remember "No Fuel Left for the Pilgrims"? - I think Michael Jessen will)

These 2 hard rocking bands would nicely contrast those awesome EUROPE melodies!!

If I were to pick other big bands, then Whitesnake and Skid Row would be my pick.

How about Whitesnake and Bon Jovi?
Winger is also great and Def Leppard.
Skid row was great when they had Sebastian Bach as a singer.
Scorpions would be my choice.

Special Guests...
I don't think that bands like WHITESNAKE or AEROSMITH will open the EUROPE-shows because they are very important bands. Maybe EUROPE could open the shows of these bands... [SM=x237812]
I think that the perfect (for me) supported band is: [SM=x237820] TALISMAN!!! ("Grande SOTO, grande SOTO!!!")
Or maybe another swedish heavy band: NOSTRADAMEUS is another good choice.[SM=x237824]

Aerosmith out...Scorps in!
Well Aerosmith may be more popular than Europe, but they are washed up ancient relics from the past. They could never perform a solo like John Norum, so it wouldn't matter if they didn't open up for Europe. Now the Scorpions would be good...Schenker and Norum on the same stage would be a show to see!

How about this German band?
How about Helloween. Great powerfull melodic rock with some great guitar playing and singing with Andy Deris (former lead singer of Pink Cream 69) on vocals. Does any of you know some music from them with this vocalist? You like it ??[SM=x237824]

they did perform together
Great taste you've got!! I just remeber that Europe did perform with Pinc Cream 69 on te Prisoners tour in 92. Andy Deris the lead singer from PC69 at that time.
I think Europe fans must listen to their music also. Especialy the song "The Dark ride"is so good.[SM=x237824] [SM=x237823] But, Europe is still number one for me to!! [SM=x237816]

Nothing is impossible
Hi!

I was reading the new issue of Sweden Rock Magazine and they revealed that Scorpions are recording a new album. There's a chance to see both Scorpions and Europe together, would be great.

Helloween will also play at Sweden Rock.

Cheers[SM=x237809]
